UPSTATE LISTENING TOUR
The California Creative Corps Upstate Listening Tour took place county by county from late fall, 2022 to early 2023 across 19 counties. Nevada County Arts Council, in partnership with State-Local Partner agencies in each county, presented key information on Program Goals, as well as the Healthy Places Index, and invited conversation on how artists and culture bearers might help communities tackle issues specific to each county. Together, we encouraged input on solutions, and invited artists to position themselves to create awareness around them. We have documented our listening sessions and used what we learned in the development of our grants program, which launched on February 14th, 2023.
