Marketing, Media, and Acknowledgments
Grantee and/or affiliate artist(s)/culture bearer(s) will be publicly credited as the creator of the work, and the work will be ready for public view / participation, or the equivalent, by the timeline expressed in the application. Work may be published online by Upstate California Creative Corps, with the creator credited.
The use of the California Arts Council logo and Upstate California Creative Corps badge is required on all printed and electronic materials and websites (programs, catalogs, postcards, posters, newsletters, leaflets, publications, etc.) that specifically reference your grant. Grantee and all sub-grantees must use our Upstate California Creative Corps logo (see here), as well as a California Arts Council’s logo (see here). The following acknowledgment is required on all printed and electronic materials:
“This activity is funded in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, through the Upstate California Creative Corps program.”

In addition to the requirements described above, Nevada County grantees are also required to credit the Nevada County Arts Council when promoting their projects.
The use of the Nevada County Arts Council logo badge is required (see here) on all printed and electronic materials and websites (programs, catalogs, postcards, posters, newsletters, leaflets, publications, etc.) that specifically reference your grant. The following acknowledgment is required on all printed and electronic materials, in place of the acknowlegement above:
“This activity is funded in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, through the Upstate California Creative Corps program, administered by Nevada County Arts Council.”
