Nevada County Arts Council has wrapped up two years in service to 19 counties and 80 grantees, serving Northern California’s least represented communities. We are grateful to the California Arts Council for selecting us as Administering Organization responsible to regranting $3.4 million, in partnership with county arts agencies in each of these counties.

Read all about it in our comprehensive final report highlighting creative achievement and economic impact in California’s northernmost rural regions since the program’s launch in October 2022.

Nevada County Arts Council [as Administering Organization for the California Arts Council, along with its county agency partners] provided support that increased our region’s capacity to access grants, execute projects and use art as a force for good. The communication, technical assistance and reporting were second to none. They took a leadership role on behalf of our region, and we were able to see how art can be used as a tool for social change and bring people together during a historically important moment.
